Saturday, October 10 · Austin time. Suggested times; traffic and waits may shift things.
- Around 6:00–7:15pm · Sunset drinks at the OasisArrive early for a lake view, then head toward dinner.
- Around 8:00–9:15pm · DinnerChoose a place in the Dinner chapter.
- Around 9:15pm · Head downtownAllow time to park and walk.
- Around 9:45–10:30pm · Bull ridingBuck Wild. Check that the bull is running.
- Around 10:45pm onward · DancingCoconut. Stay as long as we like.
- Around 12:15am · Tacos, if we’re hungryVelvet Taco, then head home when we’re ready.

Getting there, parking & the Emira
Rough travel estimates. Check navigation before each drive:
- Lakeway → The Oasis: check navigation to arrive around 6pm.
- The Oasis → dinner: leave around 7:15pm; allow roughly 35–60 minutes depending on the restaurant and traffic.
- Dinner → downtown parking: check navigation for your selected restaurant, plus time to park and walk.
- Bull & Bowl → Coconut: roughly 10–15 minutes walking.
- Downtown → Lakeway: 35–50 minutes, potentially longer.
Recheck navigation before leaving and each driving leg. Avoid the festival grounds and unnecessary driving around Zilker. Downtown can still have ACL traffic and nightlife spillover.
Park once, then walk. West Sixth: Bull & Bowl / Willow. Fourth–Colorado–Congress: Coconut / Halcyon / Elephant Room / Toy Museum. Sixth–Congress: Velvet Taco. Central East Sixth, west of I-35: Pete’s / Mala Vida. Walking depends on crowds, crossings and actual closures; Sixth isn’t always pedestrianized.
ANW Parking · 715 Nueces: 24-hour access; October advertising lists $35 for 24 hours, including ACL. Spaces unverified.
South Brazos surface lot · 400 San Jacinto: entrance on San Jacinto between Fourth and Fifth; 24-hour operation. Price and spaces unverified.
Neither entrance is verified for Emira clearance. Surface lots avoid internal garage ramps but don’t guarantee a gentle driveway. If driving, the driver stays sober.
